Building access, dignity, and clarity through skills and exposure
Our Reality
Education is changing — but not fast enough.
Across Nigeria, the cost of education is rising, access is shrinking, and curriculums are struggling to keep up with the real world. Many capable people are locked out of opportunity, not because they lack ability, but because the system no longer works for them.
At the same time:
- People are waiting years to enter university without gaining useful skills
- Practical trades are undervalued and poorly structured
- Secondary school students choose careers without real exposure or understanding
- Talent exists, but direction and access do not
This gap is where More Techies was born.
Who We Are
More Techies is a skills and exposure platform helping Nigerians learn practical skills, gain real-world experience, and make informed career decisions — regardless of background or financial situation.
We are not here to replace formal education.
We are here to restore balance, access, and dignity.
Whether someone wants to work online, master a trade, or understand a career path before committing to it, More Techies provides a clear and structured way forward.
Why We Exist
We believe:
No one should be locked out of opportunity because they can't afford university
Skills can create income, independence, and confidence
Experience should come before long-term commitment
Dignity exists in all forms of work
Young people deserve clarity, not guesswork
If you can't go to university now, hope is not lost.
You can learn a skill, work, earn, and fund your future.
And if you're a student, you deserve to understand what you're choosing before you choose it.
What We Do
We provide four clear pathways, designed for different stages of life and ambition:
Learning Programs
Affordable, self-paced courses for people who want immediate access to practical knowledge.
Talent Accelerator Program
Pod-based, hands-on programs where learners collaborate on real projects and build portfolio-ready proof of skill.
Apprenticeships
Structured, hands-on apprenticeship programs inspired by the Igbo Apprenticeship System, designed to help people learn practical trades, earn with dignity, and build long-term careers.
Incusim
A career exposure program for secondary school students, helping them explore proposed career paths before committing to university choices.
Each pathway is designed to meet people where they are, not where the system expects them to be.
How We Work
We are guided by a few simple principles:
Practical over theoretical
Experience over assumptions
Structure over chaos
Access over elitism
We combine technology, real-world training, mentorship, and partnerships to ensure that learning leads to opportunity — not just certificates.
Our Vision
We envision a Nigeria where:
- Skills are respected and rewarded
- Young people are empowered with options
- Education is flexible, practical, and human
- Opportunity is not limited by money or timing
More Techies is building toward a future where learning leads somewhere.
Our Commitment
We are committed to:
Creating pathways that work in the real economy
Supporting learners beyond the classroom
Partnering with communities, workplaces, and schools
Continuously improving how skills are taught and experienced
This is not a quick fix.
It is long-term work — and we are here for it.
More Techies exists for the curious, the determined, the overlooked, and the ambitious.
If you are ready to learn, grow, and build something meaningful —
there is a place for you here.
