Build the digital skills, experience, and confidence to thrive in the digital economy.
A 12-month hands-on fellowship designed to equip ambitious Africans with practical digital skills, real-world experience, and the ability to create opportunities through employment, freelancing, or entrepreneurship.
Many people spend years collecting certificates but still struggle to find opportunities because they lack:
The More Techies Digital Apprentice Fellowship changes that.
Inspired by the African apprenticeship model, we combine learning, mentorship, practice, and real-world projects to help you become a capable digital professional.
You want to build a valuable skill but need a structured path beyond traditional education.
You want to graduate with more than a certificate — you want real skills and projects you can showcase.
You want to develop skills employers value and become ready for digital roles.
You want to transition into a digital career without needing to become a software engineer.
You want to build digital capabilities that can help you create your own income opportunities.
The fellowship follows the principles of apprenticeship:
Gain practical knowledge in a specialised digital pathway.
Apply your skills by working on real projects.
Develop the confidence that comes from doing.
Graduate ready for employment, freelancing, or entrepreneurship.
Rather than learning random skills, you will specialise in a pathway that aligns with your goals.

In traditional African apprenticeship, completing your apprenticeship meant being supported as you started your journey. We believe digital apprentices deserve the same.
Graduates will receive support through:
Eligibility, selection, schedule, and what to expect after you apply.
The Fellowship is open to ambitious Africans aged 18 and above — students, recent graduates, early-career professionals, career changers, and aspiring entrepreneurs. You don't need a technical background; you need curiosity, commitment, and time to fully engage with a 12-month programme.
No. The Fellowship pathways are designed for non-technical learners. You will use modern digital, AI, and no-code tools to build real projects rather than writing traditional code.
A laptop, a reliable internet connection, and a quiet space to focus. Some pathway tools may work on mobile, but a laptop is strongly recommended for project work.
You submit an online application sharing your background, goals, and preferred pathway. Shortlisted candidates are invited to a short interview so we can understand your motivation and confirm the Fellowship is a good fit. Successful applicants receive an offer and complete payment or set up their instalment plan to secure a place.
Cohorts are capped to protect the quality of mentorship and project feedback. We prioritise applicants who show genuine commitment, clarity about why they're joining, and a willingness to do the work — not certificates or prior experience.
Plan for 8–12 hours per week across guided learning, project work, and mentorship. The Fellowship is designed to fit around studies or work, but it is a serious commitment over 12 months.
It's a blend. You'll follow structured learning at your own pace, attend live sessions with mentors and cohort mates, and work on real projects with feedback throughout the 12 months.
Yes. We support cohort deferrals in genuine circumstances so you can rejoin the next intake and complete the Fellowship without losing your progress.
You'll receive a confirmation email within a few days. Shortlisted candidates are invited to a short interview, after which decisions are shared before the cohort start date. Successful applicants get onboarding details, pathway resources, and access to the cohort community.
After graduation, Fellows receive continued support including career preparation, portfolio development, professional branding, business setup guidance, access to opportunities, and the More Techies alumni community.
Reach out through our Contact page or email support@moretechies.co. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
The Digital Apprentice Fellowship is a 12-month hands-on programme equipping ambitious Africans with practical digital skills, real projects, and a portfolio. You choose a specialist pathway, learn with mentors and cohort mates, and graduate with the More Techies Settlement Promise supporting you into work, freelancing, or entrepreneurship.
You choose one of three pathways: Digital Marketing Specialist, E-commerce Specialist, or AI Product Builder. Each pathway follows a structured 12-month journey with real projects, live mentorship, and a portfolio you own by the end — so your work becomes proof of the specialist skill you've built.
The Fellowship is ₦460,000, with instalment plans available. This covers 12 months of guided learning, mentorship, project work, community access, and the Settlement Promise after graduation. Apply now to be considered for the next cohort — places are limited to protect the quality of mentorship.
